The Robert J. and Deborah A. Chalfin Family Foundation Inc. currently sponsors the following initiatives:

- Offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Metuchen/Edison, New Jersey area. These scholarship awards typically range from $250 to $1,000.

- Establishing and maintaining, along with Robert and Deborah Chalfin individually, the Robert J. and Deborah A. Chalfin Family Scholarship Fund at the University of Pennsylvania for an undergraduate student or students, with a preference for students in The Wharton School, with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and financial need. This is a need-based scholarship that will be funded into perpetuity, and ensures that financial support will be extended to undergraduate students who would otherwise be unable to afford the cost of an education at Penn. The student or students receiving the award will be known as Chalfin Family Scholars.

- Supporting various charities and 501(c )( 3) organizations.
